How Chiikul handles browser preferences, access information and support inquiries.

Chiikul is a browser playground for children and their grown-ups. This page explains the information used by the service and why it is used.
Children’s information
No account is required. We do not ask for names, addresses, dates of birth or email addresses to play. A parent or guardian should handle inquiries on a child’s behalf.
Preferences stored on your device
Sound, gentle mode, extra effects, break reminders and your chosen language are stored in browser local storage (chiikul.settings and chiikul.language). These preferences help retain your settings; they are not used for advertising. You can remove them by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Play and creations
Drawings and game state are processed in your browser. The site currently has no feature that uploads or saves creations or game progress to its servers. Navigating away or reloading may clear them.
Delivery and security
We use external services to deliver and protect this site. Information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and browser details may be processed for delivery, troubleshooting, security and understanding traffic. This is separate from preferences stored on your device. Handling and retention depend on the features, configuration and service providers’ policies.
Advertising and external services
We currently use neither advertising nor Google Analytics. When you follow external links, including our contact account on X, those services’ privacy policies apply.
Support inquiries
Account names, contact details and messages you provide are used to review and respond to your inquiry and address problems. Please do not send unnecessary personal information about children, such as their names or photographs. Never include personal information in public posts.
Management and requests
We limit the use of inquiry information to what is needed and manage it appropriately, including removing information that is no longer needed. We do not disclose personal information received from you to third parties without consent or a legal basis. Contact us below to request access, correction or deletion. We will respond according to the circumstances and applicable law.
Changes
We will update this page when features or information practices change. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
